Awesome. Online things to play with!

I'm Santo, which is synonymous with Awesome, by the way. It's also currently synonymous with Boulder. I am, indeed, made of solid rock. And I can tell you right now, that phrase? A rolling stone gathers no moss? Bull. Rolling stones gather all sorts of stuff if they've got cracks and crevices.

That's your fun rock fact for the day from your resident mountain, Santo Vaccarro!

Santo had humored his parents when the insisted on helping him carry stuff to his room, mostly because he knew it was the last time he'd see them until break and what could he say? He loved his folks. So he let them carry the lighter stuff while he carried the heavier stuff and he let his mother fuss around the room for a bit before they left.

Once they were gone he looked around. It definitely wasn't home, but it wasn't bad either. And they'd obviously known he was coming, since a check of the bed revealed it was definitely sturdy enough to hold his weight. He'd crushed two before his folks had found one that could hold him.

So, you know, that was cool.

I'm gonna go make myself a snow fort.

Hi! I'm Santo. Big rock guy. If you haven't seen me, just think back and try to remember if there was a suspicious boulder in the kitchen last time you grabbed something to eat. That would be me.

I'm mostly just an average guy made out of rock, but I'm also the president and founder of the MWF: The Mutant Wrestling Federation.

Yeah, we're still pretty small, but we're growing all the time! You know you want to make up a fancy name and costume and back story and join us, right? Right!

You guys might notice there's a big lumbering statue walking around the place. Have no fear! It's not anything to worry about, it's just me.

I'm Santo. Made of rock and pure awesome.

Go ahead and look. There's a lot of me to take in.

It wasn't that Santo wanted to leave home that badly. He'd miss his mother and his father and the house, even. It was that he figured the cleaner the break, the better.

"No, ma, I've got it," he assured her, easily picking up his trunk. "See? No big!"

"Aw, ma!" Yeah, she was crying. Damn. "Listen, ma, it's fine. I'll call, right? Get one of those special dialing wands. All I've gotta do is mash the keypad."

Santo leaned down and very very carefully hugged his mother with one huge arm. "Love you, ma."

A very very careful handshake with his father later and they were heading off in the van, leaving Santo standing in front of the school.

"Man, okay. Let's go make an impression," Santo said to himself, hefting up the trunk and starting up the steps. And if the steps and building shook a tiny bit, well, everyone would know he was coming.
